I love the elm street tap room so much! I found this place right when I moved to Somerville and have felt at home ever-sense. The waitstaff is friendly attentive and never forgets a name! Everyone should join the mug club! Drink all 40 drafts and 50 cans and earn yourself a personalized mug on the walk with special events all year. For food I would recommend the waffle fries, bbq chicken nuggets, nachos and crunch wrap.

Elm street taproom is a lively bar-restaurant by Davis. They played 2010s hip hop and RnB which seemed to fit the crowd. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations as the menu looked pretty generic. I was proven wrong by their execution... The meatloaf sandwich was nothing short of the most fire meatloaf and freshly made gravy I've had. An amazing combination of flavors with the crispy onion strings, mozzarella, and mushroom. I took half home because it was very filling and it was still great after re-heating. The grilled banana bread dessert definitely hit. I thought the banana would overpower the taste but it was mild and the sweetness of the cream evened it out. I'd bring guests and friends back here.

Came for lunch. Great location and the indoor/outdoor seating area is really nice. There's a full bar and a really big menu. The fried cheese curds ($13) were delicious. the nachos ($18) were good but could use more cheese. The prices are high but I guess it's a fancy place? Will have to come back for dinner.
